R1Soft is now releasing a first round of beta modules for 5.4.x kernels 
for 18.04 and 20.04 x64 Ubuntu mainline kernels.

Known issues:
Multipath and other log spam in dmesg.
High slabtop totals for kmallocs during extreme I/O loads.
